New windshield
New windshield
Has anyone had their windshield replaced? Mine's pitted out and I can hardly see when the sun is low. If you've got any tips or suggestions or chain shops to avoid I'd love to hear them. What where you charged, or what whould you have been charged if insurance hadn't paid for it? The fact that I have a compass seems to be important (I tried to get a quote online and they called asking if I had a compass).
The compass have nothing to do with the windsheild. Bump! The best place and price you should get is from Safelite. They replaced my windshield, only costed me 121 bucks out of my pocket on my own. They are better than the OEM Nissan's glass. I haven't had any issues with leaks or wind noise.

"If" it ends up getting broken (for some strange reason)...
Claim it on your insurance. If you have a $100 deductible, call around to several glass services and "ask if they will waive your deductible". Many will to get your buisness, and it ends up costing you nothing...
