Just gotta share this with the .org family...

Yesterday, for the first time in a long time, I busted out a bucket, some t-shirts, and Meguiar's Car Wash and went to work. I started when the sun was starting to set and didn't finish until the sun was gone...all in all, about 1 1/2 hours. No time to wax and polish but I did apply RainX on my windows and lights so I'm happy with the results. I've always dreaded washing my car and have been frequenting the local gas station $2-for-a-wash contraptions with my minivan the last couple years. With the Max though, I wanted to start things off right, especially after reading everyone's advice on .org that it is better off doing it yourself. I think this is definitely becoming a regular ritual and I can't wait to start doing more to make it shine.
