Are these the new model that just came out from you guys? Or are they the old model and you are just trying to clean your shelves of them?

I would also like confirmation, I want some, but only if they are the new ones.
Let us know before the deal is over.

I just ordered myself a pair of these, I know this is a dead thread.
Quick question, I am installing these on a 2000 Max, anyone who did this on a 2k or 2k1, how did you wire them, and how did you split the high and regular beams?

WHAT?! please tell me you at least swapped the 5.5 gen HIDs into your car....if not, you have to be kidding me....and there are no high and low beams for DDEs....i am so confused!

5th gen headlight:

5.5 gen headlight:

DDEs:

as you can see, the DDEs are the actual ring lights (angel eyes) that are inserted over the existing rings in the 2k2-2k3 (5.5 gen) headlight housing...there is no way to install them on a 2k-2k1 (5th gen) for obvious reasons...

man, do i WISH you could buy that entire housing for that price! lmao! the headlights (including the HID bulbs and ballasts) go for $1200 new (you can get them for as low as $600 on the .org though) and add the price of the DDEs and, well, you see my point....

I do appreciate the quick responces but the housings are sold without the HID such as on ebay, I just figured these were the same ones. My mistake, thanks for correcting me before I got them.
