I would be down ! As long as its polyutherane and no need for the turn signals in the bumper- as we already have some in the headlights.

No

its a maxima not a skyline... doesn't flow smoothly with the rest of the car, maybe some additional photoshop pics would improve the look

Ya, to me that looks absolutely disgusting -- like Darrick said, people know we are driving Maximas....don't give anybody reason to laugh at your car.

that would be a miss...(yet another one)...as other people said, we drive maximas, not skylines....it also looks just wrong where it meets the fender because the lines aren't at all like the maxima's...

Don't listen to the fools here that do not like it etc, can you make this bumper ? This is the closest I will ever get to having a BCNR34. Now for all the haters FRONT end of the Maxima is not even close to be called sporting or aggressive, its simply booooooring. Only when you add a front lip to it- it starts to look pretty mean. I think the front end of the 5th gen actually looks worse than the back end.

Are you, yourself, a fabricator for kits or know someone who can? If you're serious about it, I'm sure ppl will post pics of what works w/the Max (some better pchops). There have been tons of these threads in the past where a maker comes in, asks for suggestions, and end result is nothing. If you're not, what's the point of this thread :-/

I actually work for Versus Motorsport. And as we speak my car is getting torn apart so the company can produce the front bumpers. ANd since it is my car that they are using, I get to choose what design they make.

You can always use the stock blinker for strobe lights.

Make the bumper look like this with a lower lip spoiler in CF as a option and you got yourself a buyer for sure !

That looks sik! And I love the fact that the car in the pic is white, like mine. If you could produce that, you'd have a hot seller.
Maybe you guys should try and produce a nice rear lip spoiler. The options for rear spoilers for our cars are pretty limited. I think that a nice subtle lip coming off the trunk would look smooth. Nothing too small (kinda like the paradox ones), and nothing too bulky like the APC. Somewhere in the middle. Bomex makes some nice ones for Lexus and Infiniti. Just a thought.

if you want a skyline that bad, you can buy one for about $10k in australia, spend $5k to make it US-spec (or go the "kit car" route where you ship the drivetrain, windows, and body seperately and register it as a kit car), and $2k to ship it here, and presto - you have a Skyline for the price of an 03 maxima....

as to the kit, since you're asking for opinions: mine is no thanks....

the very first bumper isn't that great, but the one a few posts back is pretty tight. The only thing I would change is the lights on the front. I like them lower like our oem fogs.

I would def. be down with that fora good price. Just like the one black bird showed you to make, make the CF an option not standard. I bet that bumper would look good with the sarona sides and rear??or you thinking of making a whole kit??

Ye it would, when do you think something like this might be available? I might be buying the Stillen front in a month or 2, but if this is going to be available then maybe not..

OK guys..Here is the update.. The R34 bumper can and will be made for our Gen Maxima. I just need some ideas on sideskirts and a rear bumper. Here is a few pics of my car while it is sitting in the VERSUS MOTORSPORT building.

So I take it the Rear Bumper will replace the whole bumper and not be a lip kit..? Just need to know this because as of now I am in the market.. When do you think this will be available and will it be available for 2000-01 models.. Thanks

It will be both, Versus is going to offer both a lip kit and a full rear bumper replacement. They just pulled off the whole stock rear to pull a mold off of it.

I'm glad someone MIGHT actually make the MaximaZero front bumper ! Make sure they make one in UTHERANE cause that will make it a deal for all of us ! Also if its possible don't make the bumper too low as the slammed cars will have issues with ground clearance, and we don't want those 4x4 looking wheels on our cars. Fiberglass, regardless how many layers it has etc will still crack and fitment is ALWAYS poor, utherane will be eassier to adapt and flexes I will gladly take my bumper off for a R34 one of MaximaZeros design, mine is in need of a repaint. My Stillen Aero lip will be up for sale if this comes out !

Man make tht bumper and im in line for it also, screw my razor front bumper that one looks tight.

If they make this in urathane its gonna cost a crap load probably looking at around 600 to 1000 buck just for the front bumper. considering. If im right urathane is a plastic, right, the you need a mold, it deepends what the mold is from basically if its from steel then its probably 1000 for the bumper, if something else, i have no clue what, then it might be cheaper. Face it look at the stillen aero kit. four tiny pieces of plastic for 800 buck. So unless all the orgers chip in buy a huge block of steel have a shop custom machine a mold i doubt that a urathane one will happen. But you never know, plz correcting if i'm wrong which hopefully i am and they can make this in urathane and for cheap too.

What about ABS? I'm still confused as to whether it's better than fiberglass and comparable to urethane? Anyone care to explain?
