Angel eyes + Data Dots

Hello all,

Just ordered the angel eye kit for my 02' maxima and previewing the instructions. I was wandering if anyone has a write-up on how to remove the headlights with the data dots ( anti-theft ) bracketing. I know it should be more difficult than how the companys instructions show. Also please comment on any tips/ tricks you guys have for installing this kit.

Thanks in advance,
Mike

Mike:

I can tell you now that most people wont even comment on how to get them out since is a delicate subject, my advise is get under your car and start learning how or where are they screw. Sorry if that doesnt help but youll see no one wants to comment on it...

IIRC goldmaxnyc knows the proper way to take the headlights off w/DataDots, you may want to PM him to ask. Check the GD eyelids thread last page or so to find his ID. I can't remem. off the top of my head how exactly it's spelled. I could tell you, but the way I did it was such a pain, took me way too long. PM me if you want.

I tried to get them from DAVEB and he told me it is a regional thing... so If you are not in a high crime area...(HID's crime) you will no t be able to get them.....
Does anyone is selling them.. I might buy them.....

big metal bracket attaches the headlight to the frame and hides the the balast....so even if u rip the headlight out ...u cant get to the balast.

Thanks to those that pm me instructions for removing my headlights. This will truly save me countless hours. I realize the secrecey that most .org memebers try to keep on this security set-up ( especially those of us that live in the Northeast). I also can appreciate those that have had these very expensive items stolen. My apologizes go out to you guys.

Thanks again,
Mike
