how many ppl have joined this site in the past day or two? it seems as if there is a lot of newbies with posts for the past days.....i was just gone for a vacation for one day and this place became WW III......what's up with that? i've read 4 threads already tonight and i think all 4 of them had a fight of some sort in it....for example, i simple race story with a cls that was shared, a 5 spd vs auto(which was just asking for it) or someone having a problem with a bump and reving to 9000rmp....can't we all just get along and be happy?

Now I've seen flame wars and no way is that CLS thread anywhere near flame temperature. I think it's just a pretty good discussion but I agree it should be watched

general forum is an addiction too.. i constantly switch from here back, but of course everytime i visit maxima.org i stop by the 5th gen first..

I would definately not consider myself one of the most knowledgeable here, far from it. I do however get irritated by know-it-alls that really don't know jack (not saying you're one of them) and talk all sortsa smack especially when they're newbies.

hey...I used to be a newbie here but hell, i never flamed because of a joke. Some newbs just have to lighten up and think about things... I even started flames when i was a newb by postin something like "What's the AE like" where i asked about the AE and people started fightin cuz they were jokin around.

 

Is it me or do the 5th gen'ers not really visit the General Forum? I've noticed that hardly any of us venture there compared with the other Max owners. Just an observation...

Yeah...I do find the majority of my information/entertainment right here on the 5th gen forum.

 

How come everyone is becoming so angry. I have been part of the 5th Gen forum for as long as I had my car. which is only two weeks. i find this place to be a paradise of information, for a maxima owner.

it is not how long you have owned your maxima that counts, it is how much useful information is contributed that counts. i myself, have only posted one post about hood vibration. it seemed that many were interested in the post. i gave some input, but i still have not discovered a solution. it helps to have alot of people on the problem and working together to solve.

the point is we should all get along and share our information and knowledge with everyone on the site. i know this sounds bad coming from a newbie, but you have to understand that one day i will not be just a newbie.

a) I rarely visit the General Forum. I am usually between OT, here, and 3rd Gen.
