Yet another head unit for me.

I got this JVC headunit in from UPS yesterday....I installed it right away. Here are some pictures... The the screen is a 3" TV, plays DVDs and VCDs, also MP3s.

My rear view camera is plugged in and I can see in back of me.

i mean the 3" screen is cool and all, but not too practical in my opinion....

It's a bit pricey...I've seen it up to $700.

Got mine for $470 with shipping and warranty from Brooklyn, NY.

You can see everything clearly...I think it's well worth the 470.

i guess everyone's tax refund is coming in...
i like the idea of a 3 inch screen on a headunit but it looks a little bulky.

Where do you come up with the money to do all your mods at 20 years old?
On the HD, I would have saved the money for a real screen. Not sure how seeable a 3" would be.

i know right?? at 20 years old, how is he pulling that much money in??

anyways, i think the HU looks out of place, because is to bulky IMO...the screen is pretty cool and it is better than no LCD screen whatsoever, but the size of the whole thing just throws me off...its like...a 1 1/2 din HU or something...

my tax refund was $35.....that's not where I got the money...Like I said in my first post, I was saving for the bike and I spent some of the money on the car. Plus...I actually work.

hey..at least you guys got tax refund.. my parents used me..they said they will get the person who does the tax refund do mine.so i don't have to pay anything. I ended up paying $71 instead of getting my $500 refund because my parents tell that woman to put me as depandent, so my parents got another extra $1000 more tax refund and i got to pay the damn $71

that screen is dope, but i am not digging the **** like controls. at least it's something you liked and that nobody else has in a maxima yet.

as far as being 20 and getting the dough up to drop on something extra comes from putting in work. however and wherever it may take you. get a job you bum b*tches.

my state was $1400 and my federal was $3300. word to putting down a few extra bucks out of every paycheck and doing your own taxes pays. it only takes half of a primate's intelligence to keep paperwork handy and connect the dots- that come with printed instructions too.

back on track- jvc makes a bunch of dope headunits in the 'exao' or whatever lineup. i almost bough a k-series with the 'pict' viewer to change the units wallpaper.

Trust me...you don't have to squint to see anything...I watched 2 movies on it already and I could read the subtitles from my seat.
