Rotor and and brake in....

I heard no hard braking for 5 days then slowly get on them 50%- let cool over night...bring up to temp slowly and then brake hard a few times, let cool and it's done. Best not to break in new pads with new rotors so they say. I am running brmbo blanks and I'm thinking hawk ceramics- is this a good combo? Where is the best place to buy the pads? Thanks...
