I figured the Maxima has about 225hp to the wheels and with my mods which include Headers, CAI, Grounding Kit and Exhaust I brought it up to what Nissan Says 255hp. So then I just went with the 100hp jets for the zex and well I believe thats a nice 350hp under the hood now. Another thing I noticed before I even shot the Nitrous was the one step colder plugs. They gave me power too. Quicker pick ups thats for sure.

Nice, but how will the engine hold up to that kind of stress?

Just asking because we all know Nitrous causes many engines to blow prematurely.

I didn't retard the engine at all, just used a colder set of plugs. Also I do have the HotShot Headers, CAI and some other things on there. Should I retard the timing a bit?

Hmmmm

Well not sure how the engine will hold up but I won't be using it every day when i drive. Mostly when I go to the track or if someone is playing with me on the highway. Plus with the Zex Wet kit, it adjusts to the engine and ECU so you can't overboost the engine or overspray it. Its all self managed and thats why i got the Zex Kit

Miles

I have just over 39000 on the Maxima and have taken nothing but the best care with it as far as oil changes with synthetics, gear oil synthetic and brake synthetic

Power

Well, today was a perfect day to run the Zex Kit since I am still missing one crucial part for the kit. I still need the Bottle Warmer to keep the Nitrous at a steady 80 degrees for peak performance. Anyways, I loaded in the nitrous, purged it and was running on the highway. Whats really nice about the Zex Kit, it only kicks in on WOT, so to keep this short I was in 3rd gear and cruising about 50mph when i punhed it. Well let me tell you, it threw me back in the seat and instantly jumped up to about 90mph in a second or two. WoW I love this freaking kit. I would tell all to get it anytime of the day!!!!

should be fine on stock timing but i definetely would not advance the timing. with the colder plugs, did you go with copper or plats? the reason i ask is nitrous and platnium are typically not recommended.

Hey man, that nozzle doesn't look right. Mine is firing towards the throttle body (horizontal). Is it me or is that thing firing vertical? Ya love da ZEX don't ya?

I'm getting the Walboro 255ml fuel pump first and one step colder plugs, then I'll be a 100 shot. I'm only at 75, but I know what you mean. I know a couple guys here that have advanced their timing and said it didn't hurt anything. One was running a Zex 100 shot on a 2k2 auto, the other was running 175 shot direct port 2k2 6-speed. I need to check with him and make sure he had it advanced with the 175 shot though.

Nice setup, very clean.....I've got to do some cleanup on mine, right now it's just functional.

As far as your HP goes, I would say you have about 320-340. I would love to have that anytime. How much was the kit?

It needs to be horizontal like this, so that it sprays into the throttle body directly. The location of the nozzle is fine, but make sure it's pointed directly into it. You'll get the most out of it pointed in the right direction.

Thanks

I just realized what you were talking about and I rotated the nozzle so it will flow into the Throttle Body. once again thanks for the look!!!!
