I have a 2002 maxima(HID'S) and im thinking about gettin some projector headlamps from another maxima owner(2003), but they came off a 01 maxima, i want to know will they fit and how will they look...

nooooo....they are the ebay projectors...i would NEVER switch my $1300 HIDs for the $250 ebay projectors with no light quality, and not to mention they're ugly as sin...

so was the deal,, i got a 2k2 max and i want blacked out headlights how do i get that? and what is a the difference between ours and the ones on ebay ?

04+ are the first projectors. and are these off an 03 or 01? b/c 01 did not have HID and neither had projectors. What are you putting theses on? Your 02 HID? why????
either way, I'm sure you'll get good coin for your oem HID from a member here.

and here are the ebay projectors:


- the ebay projectors have absolutely no light output, while the 2k2 HIDs have EXCELLENT output (IMO...some people think differently)
- the ebay projectors make the car look cheap and ugly IMO, and the HIDs make it look nice and classy
- the ebay projectors are $200-250 while the HIDs are $1300 new....

all in all, the HIDs are WAAAY better than the ebay projectors in every aspect...you shouldn't even have to question whether or not to swap these projectors for the stock HIDs (unless of course you do a retrofit to get better light output...but they still will look like crap)

all i did was remove the splash guards (three screws on each) and give the car a good wash, scrubbing very lightly in those areas so that i didn't scratch the paint....after the wash, there were still a couple scratches and some tough grime, so i used some meguiar's scratch-x to get that off, and now they look as good as new!

 

I wonder how long before Jason chimes in with a typical comment on how BAD those e-bay lights are.

 

im currently in the process of retro fitting some ebay projectors with HID projectors....let me know how it goes
