Whats the maximum wheel width that can fit on a 5th gen?

8.5 would be the widest I would go. steven88 has 18x8.5" amongst others. Depends on the offset ... check the stickys ...

 

go to the wheel/tire forum i test fitted a 9.5 on the rear of my car and it fit up with no problems.

 

18x10.5 but i had +15 offset... no rubbing at all

 

It's gonna depend on the diameter, offset, and tire size, as well as whether it goes front/rear. So, please be more specific so we can properly answer your question. Hopefully mods can move this to the appropriate forum?

 

Triple 8, the rims I was deciding between were a 18x7.5 or an 18x8, with a 245/40 tire.

 

I have 18x8's with 245/40rubber, 35 offset and I don't have any problems.
