I have a ticking sound coming from the HVAC blower on my 2000 Max. I'm assuming it's ingested a leaf or some other debris into the blower fan.

Does anybody know how to get the motor out to remove whatever got in there?

I was hoping it would just purge itself, but after a month it's still just as bad as it was the first day it happened, and it's starting to drive me nuts!

Thanks for the link, but I don't think this is it because it's very loud, and does it through all of the fan speeds.

Sounds like a playing card on the spokes of a bike. (Remember those days?....)
