you could sand them but I tried that and it came out horrible...some people have been successful. I just purchased new stock headlights off ebay for 80 each. Easy install

Of course you can.

1. Host pics online (Photobucket, Shutterfly, etc)

2. Post pics here using the image button in your text editor or the following VB code:

[img]Picture URL[/img]

The URL must end in .jpg, .jpeg, etc.

Well, here's some pics of my new toy. It was perfect for what I need, being a family man. It's a 'family car' with a fun side. Rims are Mille Miglia Spider lightweights. They're only 17's, and they came with the car. Actually, everything came with the car, including the exhaust, suspension, intake, and carbon-look taillights. I'm happy with her the way she is, though might go S/C in a few months.

Never mind the date on my obviously crappy and cheap camera. I picked her up last Monday.

those tail lights are stock tails for 2000-2001 SE Max's hehe 6speed FTW!

I dont belive you can Supercharge the 3.5's unless you have the 3.0 timing cover.

I didn't know about the taillight's being stock on the 5.0 gens. Same with the 3.5 not being able to be S/C'd. This is my first foray back into Nissans since my 1992 SE-R got traded in a few years ago. I seriously prefer these taillights over the stock 'Altezza's' that came with the car, carbon look or not.

So I take it the S/Cs that can go on 350Z's cannot go on my VQ? I'm not sure what the implications of transverse mounting had on this.

Also, a friend who works for a shop offered to turbo my car for about 4K out the door. Reasonable?

Here's an example I was sent of the shop's work with an Altima SE:

^^^^ 4K yeah that's reasonable!!! I would go for it in a heart bit!!! Do you know how much headache ppl went through to make a turbo kit for 3.5s. Man and they realy gave up on it at the end!!!!

Random question: I just bought an '03 Black/Black 6spd SE, (and am deciding what to do with my '97 Black/Black 5spd SE), but I noticed one of the things I really liked about the '97 was that the interior trim is ALL black, and the headliner, etc. is dark grey. (my '03 has lighter colored interior trim in the "top" half)
In all of the pics posted in this thread, I either couldn't tell, or didn't see any with black interior trim in the "upper" half of the 5th gen cars. Did any 5th gen's ever come with ALL black interior trim?

No... If you wanna get the dark interior then you'll have to do it yourself via VHT interior dye. I just got through with mine. I went from frost to black and charcoal.

Four thousand!!!!! I would do that in a heartbeat depending on the specs of the turbo and what all it comes with. Good luck with that many have tried. If you succeed more power to you.

Racing Hart Wheel Swap Day

My friend and I both have Racing Hart Evolution wheels. I have the C5 model (five spoke) and he has the C2 model (multi spoke). We have always wondered what they would look like on each other's cars so we finally took the time to swap them. I personally am glad that I went with the five spoke design and while my wheels look nice on his, I feel as though his wheels make the car look less rice. I had just jacked up the car and let it down, so the wheel gap is larger than it is normally. Opinions/comments?
