retorfit problem

i got a lil problem im doing a retrofit on my ebay projector and i ran into a small lil problem. i don kno which part to put facing up the part with the shield or the part without the shield

part without the shield is in the northern hemisphere of the projector...

why are people so hateful here.... if you don't like a thread.. don't respond... Say something nice or don't say anything at all. Good luck with your retro maxima pimpin, one of the most intuitive 16 yr olds i've seen on this site.. mostly for the fact that you're doing your own retro, and not paying mom and dad's money for someone else to do it. keep it up

Obviously he has searched, since he has Dr. Roy's write-up.

BTW, isn't it against the rules to "go around" the language sensors?

Anyways, From ChromeSE5's post it looks like the shield goes up.

A lot of people use Photo Bucket to host their pictures too.

There was a "calling Dr. Roy" thread 2 hours before this thread was started. So don't tell me he searched other wise he would have seen the other thread in the middle of the page.

I read that thread too... where did they talk about the positioning of the shield for an E36 retro?

Put the shield on top. It's there to keep you from blinding other drivers.
