I am planning on some mods soon to improve the overall handling on my max, especially at higher speeds. i am going with a fstb, rsb,Z rated tires and a suspension upgrade either coilovers or a spring/strut combo. With this setup will i be able to outrun the bigboys, BMW,AUDI QUATTRO,when the road gets twisty.

OK, performance doesn't sound as easy as a few bolt ons!

Sure, RSB FSTB RSTB SPrings + Struts do help performance at high speed, but what if the competition had their car modded as well?

If you want to go even further, then you should spend some money on stiffening your chassis and do a major weight reduction by removing virtually anything possible.

What tire are you going for? If you are considering major performance, go with the R compound with ultra light rim. If you are extremely serious about winning on the twisties, get the 255 35 20 (like the one use in British Touring Car Championship) matched with white light weight rims!

You might want to add even more power to accomondate the extra drag created by your tires.

Stay away from any roads with bumps, the Maxima's solid rear axle can upset the rear of the car abit on corners. Not that you would race on a poor road surface...

Off topic... AznWontonboy why do you have picture of a BMW on every post you make on a Nissan Maxima board? How about a nice picture of your Max or any Max? Just curious since this is a Maxima board?
