Just called my Nissan dealer in Ile Perrot, Quebec, Canada about the brake rotors. When I asked him right away about the warranty of the brake rotors, he said there isn't any. Its even in the book! This is called wear & tear. hmmm sounds fishy. He told me to TRY not to brake too hard from high speeds. err...

Anyways, maybe TSB in Canada are different than TSB in USA. Also maybe the warranty is different too between US and Canada.

Any ideas?

No.....It's Nissan North America....Canada is included....there is no difference in tsbs.....find another dealer. It clearly states on the tsb that the rotors are coverd 3yr/36k miles.

My dealer said nothing is covered after 12000 miles, but the tsb says 3/36000 for the warped rotors...I guess I can ask my service dept what is going on.

My brother has a Y2K GXE. Rotors warped at 33,000. My brother didn't even know about the TSB. Dealer gave him new rotors and pads no charge!

 

..no problem..Had it done in Cobourg, Ontario..no quesitons asked. The rotors werent even warped..turned out to be a bum tire....warranty work was done hassle free.
