Sounds pretty good, better than I expected. My friend has 3" catman and in person sounds similar to your phone vid.

I'll agree with that. However, my cat was partially clogged. But I agree, it sounds like a ballsy 370 or G37 with the cat on. But the throttle response with no cat is VERY addictive.

And honestly, the car really isn't that loud. Brian did well resonating the cat-back and only at the higher RPMs (as heard in the 3rd video) do you really hear it.

I have Cattman headers, fast cat and 3" exhaust and I can tell you there is NO video that could EVER fully capture how this exhaust sounds, you just have to hear it in person......AWESOME!!!!

This is very true. I had the fortunate opportunity to hear my car from another car in a tunnel and it was just a great sound overall. What's more, I know the sound is substantiated by power, which makes it all the more welcoming to listen to

When you go through a tunnel that is the best. I love the sound. A deep nice smooth growl. Not that FART/BEE can sound you get from other exhausts.

Exactly! I can only hope my next car (whatever it may be) will match it.

SR*S Type-RE Cat-Back Exhaust

First thing I'll say is there's no comparison to a Cattman exhaust, but his 2 1/2" is out of production. If you want a good quality 2 1/2" system, I suggest looking into the "SR*S Type-RE Cat-Back Exhaust". I'm very happy with the SR*S, it's basically a knockoff of the (defunct) "HKS" Cat-Back. A lot of 'Z' owners recommend the SR*S exhaust for their cars. On my 2001 which is bone stock from the 'main cat' forward. It's quiet and not at all 'ricey' sounding, just a bit louder than stock with a deeper tone. 100% 2 1/2" 304 stainless, so it should last. Had no problems with installation/fitment, did the job with the car on ramps. The only thing you might have a problem with is the 'look' of the offset tips that match the curve of the bumper.

This seller is willing to deal on the price. I got mine for $300. inc. shipping.

Get the exhaust you think you want, if it drones, go to Summit or any store similar and pick out a resonator, and get it welded in.

Most quality resonators that quiet things down are in the 50-70$ range. A shop should charge about an hour or so, and depending on their rates, 70-100$.

Gotta pay to play.
