I saw a posting last week about someone w/ sand around there gas cap area. I was recently putting gas in my car and noticed the same problem, but i can't remember what the fix was and i can't seem to find the post for it. Any help would be appreciated.

HMMM, i just notice that my reply didn't make it to this thread....some reason it's not there.....i wonder y, i dind't have any type of conncetion failair in btwn r anything...hmm

Actually that's really weird because i did get your post... i had just finished reading it when i got your second one.

I'm amazed at how fast you guys are... i just bought my 4th maxima and i just recently found out about this site, and i love it :-)

Yep, had same prob with the sand. Went down to the dealer put the cover on, no charge, now no sand.
