Is it "real" brushed alum?

If not, can you post a pic of the center console like center air vents, radio and such. I am very interested in this kit depending on fitment. Also any suggestions on how to remove my kit now???

Thanks

Re: yea

260 is the price for the kit brand new. Yes it is real aluminum to a certain extent. It isn't billet, but it is brushed aluminum!

Well if anyone can suggest a way to remove my current dash kit ...

And if there is shadow reference sheet for the pieces included ...

I think you might have him a buyer! I would like to see you center dash pieces but if you don't have the pics the shadow sheet will do. In you sig it says you have the joshua tree brushed alum ... do you like this kit better?

Re: Re: Re: yea

Yeah, I like this better because it looks factory and fits the dash perfectly, those flat kits are so played! I took my other kit off with a heat gun. Just hold it over the part that you want to remove for a few minutes and it will lift off. Clean up the residue with goo gone or something of that nature. Check the center vent out! The kit is fits the four vents up front the four doors and the center console. My sig is way out dated, I don't even have the Cva 1005 and Dva 5205 anymore. Got the new and improved Cva 1003 and the dvd navigation unit!

$260??? I don't know how authentic the ones I see on e-bay are but I saw some for $125. Are those any good? I think the ones on e-bay may not be a complete set but then again I'm not sure.

I like the pics. One more question. Does the kit include a piece for the GXE vent/radio piece. I recently replaced the seperate center vents for the one piece design. (that's why i had to get joshua tree to send me replacements). I had to do this for my stereo.

If they make a piece for this, I am in and will buy asap. If not let me think about it but I will prob buy anyway! Just tell your guy that sells them he's got a potential buyer.

Thanks.

The ones you are seeing on ebay are not molded. At least the one's I've seen anyway. They are the flat style and are not molded to the contours of the dash.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: yea

Yeah they make it, look at my post near the middle of the thread and I have an attachment w/ the pic of the center vent. The company that makes this kit is the same one that makes the wood dash that the dealer sales. They also have authentic carbonfiber in different colors, my friend has a yellow carbon kit to match his yellow Xterra, can you say tighter than gnat booty!

We should get a group deal going.

No, that's a flat kit, not a contoured kit. I think I have seen the kit he is talking about listed on ebay once. The decription said stainless steel rather than brushed alum. though. I was about the same cost and the same look that I can tell from the pictures. I don't know for sure but it looks hot!!!

I have the same kit. I got mine from the dealership as a freebe. You can get it through the dealer but there way more than $260. They wanted me to pay $500 bucks for the kit. It was already on the car so I told him I didnt want the car anymore. So he threw it in for free. Rocketship has a good deal going.
