how much different are the 5th gen and the 5.5 gen fenders? i have an 01 and am going to buy an 03 fender. how will fitment be? concerned about area by the headlights.

If you have 01 headlights, there will be a gap; see my cardomain for pics.

 

thats for the front bumper not the fender i believe....the fenders and the hood are identical for all 5th gens, but the bumpers are different, and there will be a gap using the 5th gen headlights with the 5.5 gen bumper..

 

its the same...and technically its called a "front quarter panel".
