Hard choice!!!!!

Ok heres the deal. Tomorrow will be the do or die day. I've passed up 2 6speeds due to price and both are now gone. I 've got one dealer down to 17,000 for a 2003 pearl white 6sp only option is moonroof w/31000 miles. I have one more car to look at tomorrow and its a 2003 silver loaded 6speed with every option except navi.w/40000 miles. Haven't talked price yet. Let me add that the pearl white is flawless and the interior is extra clean. Which one would you choose.......

Yeah the silver one is looking good only because my 02 max that got totalled was a base model only option was moonroof and i'd kinda like to have leather this time plus i regretted buying an auto a week after purchase. damn the wife. she only drove my car like 3 times in the almost 3 years i owned it.If the white one was loaded it would be a no brainer but i kinda want an upgrade. the miles don't bother me that much because my last car had 43000 and it was solid.

If the silver one is clean and the price is right, go for it. The additional 9K on the odometer is nothing. I prefer leather and white shows the dirt too much, whereas silver hides it.

Get the TE.......you won't regret it. I'm also assuming that they both have HSLD.

white one doesn't have hsld, not sure about the silver one. Don't really care if it does or not the main feature is the 6 speed

IMO, HLSD is a must if you're getting a 6-speed... but that's just me.

Test drive 6-speeds with and without, and you'll see the difference...

It should also help with the horrible torque steer, and it grabs and goes much better, than without one. I highly recommend a 6-speed to have HSLD, well worth it. There are guys here that have the 6-speed and now want the HSLD with it, and conversion is too much to be in sight. You'll end up wanting it in the long run. Might as well not regret it later. GL with whatever you decide.

Exactly, but don't tell me you're not planning on taking any corners?

In all honesty, there are many debates as to whether Nissan's HLSD is any better than an open differential. I just think its nice to have when taking sharp corners and in slippery conditions because it does make a difference. Don't get me wrong, if you're driving in ice and snow, its not gonna make the Max a snowmobile. Its just an option that can't hurt if you're looking for a 6-speed.

if you're getting preowned, i would almost always go for options and conditions...hence silver for me

I guess i would be nice to have. The automatic has pretty nasty tq steer so i would figure the 6 speed must be worst. If the silver on has it then i am sold but if not the oh well. I ve been driving this rental for a month now and my time is up so i gotta get something by this weekend....

Go loaded. The mileage is a non issue. Silver and white are two nice colors. I ended up with a black because the price was right. 13,400 for a loaded 02 with 54k.

holy cow, the title of this thread is right: it is a hard choice.
white is my favorite color on a car (black and silver are tied for 2nd) but the silver is a TE..haha..sorry, not much help here except i just wanted to say "you're right, it's a tough choice."
