Okay I have read through everything and know that the projects are **** when it comes to lumes output. I saw the threads where people got rid of them or kept them just for looks.
I also know that the projectors can't fit the HID bulbs. (Which for me is a serious problem)

I also know that people are buying the custommaxima.com's angel eyes and Audi TT projectors. Then converting the headlights.


My question is has anyone bought the ebay projectors and swapped out the projectors for the Audio TT ones? Will the HID bulb fit? Does the bulb have to be changed?

I got the ebay projectors(not by choice, long story) anyway i also got a set of after market hids (h3), and the light output is not that bad....at least that is my opinion.

you can swap in any projector as long as it fits. I wouldn't go for the audi TT ones since they are more for fogs... if you want to stick with halogens then valeo h7s are pretty decent or you can go with mdx projectors which uses h9/h11 (h9 has more output) h4 is suppose to be at 1400 lumens w/ overwattage and h9 is suppose to be 1800 lumens and d2s (HID bulb for projectors) are suppose to be at 3200 lumens. As for pricing, you can get a set of projectors cheap at www.HIDPLANET.com/forums in thier forsale section. I've seen a pair of e46 bosch non-bixenon projectors go for as low as $100. i bought the mdx projectors for $25 each on ebay. (it was the whole Acura MDX headlight actually.) theres a seller who always has them for $25 each.
