2001 fuse link and fuse off of positive terminal
anyone know how much or where i can get a fuse link for a 2001 maxima, the one that comes of the positive terminal, the one with the red cover over it. it says it has a 120a fuse in it, but the fuse blew and wont pull out. it crumbled in the process of removing.
anyone know the price for that whole part?
anyone know websites to get it at?

You might try this place, call them up and ask what it comes with exactly. I hear it' quite a job to replace the whole cable, but I imagine it couldn't hurt, battery cables have a tendency to get pretty corroded.

or, are you trying to find just the fuse link? I can't remember off the top of my head if that is something that can be replaced by itself. Cant you just get in there with some small pics/punch/needle nose pliers and get the broken tabs out?

EDIT****
Didn't realize how old this thread is....
Guy above me, if the fuse is blown i believe it won't allow any electronics in the car to work properly....it is to prevent a large power surge to enter the electrical system of the car before it really even has a chance to break anything.

ty for the link man! And i know it is an old thread i just searched and found it. You are correct though no electronics work in the car, even with a booster cable hooked up my radio power locks, etc... don't work. I hope its not a hard fix, itried to remove just the fuse but it broke into little parts.

I found this thread searching for a reason why my car has no power even though my battery has 12.5v and thought to myself... hmm can't leave this thread hanging. I'm sure in the 8 years since he posted he found out that fuse doesn't just pull out, it's held in by 2 10mm screws
