Front passenger shock noise
Front passenger shock noise
I recently lowered my car on h&r's. The passenger side front shock is making a loud clicking noise when i turn the steering wheel. I took it back off and looked at it. The top hat hole that lines up with the long bolt in the shock is getting stuck. When i push the top hat down it either doesnt go down, or it gets stuck when i can get it to go down. When the bolt slides through the hole in the top hat it gets stuck.
Please post if you know how to fix this.
Thanks,
Francis

Yes i did, but this is before i put the nut on it, when i push the top hat it gets stuck instead of sliding down and having the spring push it back up when i release the pressure i am putting down on it.
Hey Francis, when we were doing the install on my car yesterday, we fixed that issue by tightening the spring compressors 100% of the way. This allowed the strut mount to slide all the way down.
