This should be locked. See the other recent thread in the General Maintenanace forum entitled NGK spark plugs. Also, you have been a member of this website for over a year and you still don't know what kind of spark plugs to buy. Read, read and read some more, please. See the FAQs, stickies, www.maxmods.dyndns.org, www.motorvate.ca etc.

so true man, i can understand asking if there has been a change to what was recommended before but coming to the table with no information when its already laid out for u in stickies is lazy.

Quick break down, copper produces better spark and are very affordable, yet only lasts 30k miles and doesnt come pregapped so u have to gap them. On stock engine, recommended between .40 and .44. Platinum plugs last longer (60k miles) and come pregapped but are almost 4 times the price yet last only twice the life. You can get model numbers from the stickies to determine the right model of NGK plugs u need. I just changed mine but forgot the model. Its something like BKRE-511 or something.

You have a great looking car btw .

Buy a haynes or chilton. It's pretty straight foward, open your hood and see for yourself. Check the 4th gen stickys, it's essentially the same process.
