question on injen cai

I just installed an injen cai on my 5spd 2k max. Fit was good except for one thing. On the stock air dam, there is a sensor(Hitachi boost sensor) and I'm wondering what I'm supposed to do with it. It is normally bracketed to the stock air dam but you have to remove that to install the injen. Right now I have cable tied it but it still flops around a bit. I have e-mailed injen but have not heard anything from them. Has anyone else had this problem or have any suggestions.
Thanks

just ziptie it to a cable so it is around the same location as it was before. put the ziptie on the wire right next to the sensor and it wont move around too much.

and before a huge argument is started you might want to admit that the injen isnt a true cai because of the location of the filter. it is a wai (warm air intake) just like the berk, frankencar, stillen, etc. the only true cai is the placeracing one that goes inside the wheel well

You get to put it any where you like but dont break it the sensor is over a hundred and it will break where the air tube connects cause the plastic is well 5 years old

injen sucked on my car. it sounded absolutely great, but the low-end loss was crazy. i put on a berk intake, and that made a huge diff from the injen. i think the short-ram intakes are way better than the longer ones. you may have a diff experience because of the 3.0 liter.

I had an injin on my 98 and it sounded great as well. Did not notice any power loss, it actually felt a little snappy.

which you thoroughly enjoy. that's the only reason you gave it a free bump instead of letting it float off the page 2 and into oblivion.

oh you know it's true!

Uh yeah, because everyone has several grand to spend on parts, knows how to throw on their own SC/TC, AND make it run/can keep it running... lets keep it real here...

you didn't catch that I was being facetious did you? Didn't think so. I do not have forced induction, nor will I. My statement was made simply to stir things up a little.

I would never in a million years go forced induction on my maxima, thought about it for a couple days, but then said "NO". Too much of a hassle, I want a decently powered car (300hp or so) without having to spend a crapload on a SC or turbo. All motor for the maxima.
