Automatic "One Touch" Window Roll-up

Anyone remember where to find the right up for the re-wiring of the window controls to allow all the windows to be rolled down and up with "One Touch". I am trying to do it in my truck, and the guys on the truck forums arent quite as adventurous/knowledgable. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

You can get a module to do that with. KPTechnologies is the one that sold me mine. If you have keyless entry, you can control the up feature with your oem keyfob, and if you didn't have one touch, this module will add it to your oem switch if I'm not mistaken. I'm not too sure of the wiring and exactly what model number module you'll need for your truck though. Go here and see if they have anything for you. You can contact Dan or Kevin. www.KPtechnologies.com

Hope that helps

I have a new Chevy Silverado (no flames please), and KP technologies doesn't carry anything domestic. The write-up I was looking for was done by someone on the org. It involved a re-wire of the window control circuit board, possibly some new relay/limit switch, and it had instructions. I was hoping to find that and try to cross reference it with my Truck. Unfortunately, can not use the search feature at this time.

ive seen them on because for about $15. u just plug in a module. If u get a 4-way you can either move 4 windows up OR down or you can use it to move 2 windows up AND down. sorry about the double post

ebay sells cheap ones, some you need two modules for up and down (one for each) but it's still cheaper than kp technologies..... ebay search window roll up

the write-up I remember seeing had nothing to do with an aftermarket alarm or factory key fob. It was just a re-wire of the existing window switch.

yes it does. there is an extra relay that your alarm manufacturer makes that makes it work. there is probably even a generic one that works with most major brands of alarms. some aftermarket alarms with these relays even roll up the windows for you when you activate the alarm.

Yes, DEI makes this feature. They have two modules. One module controls 1 direction only (up or down) and the other module controls both directions (up and down). I had the first module feature in my '95. Very convenient. I had chose the "up" feature where I can remotely put up the windows with the key fob. I still have the module and I wish I can put it in my 2K SE. Hmmmm...if only I can get the right frequency in order for it to work!?

For an aftermarket alarm, you would need a 530t Module made by DEI. It controls 2 windows up and down.

You would not use this KP module unless you were using the factory keyless.

Sorry for hijackin your thread TallB

All you have to find out is if your 2k window system works off a positive or a negative relay, then you just wire it up accordingly to your aftermarket alarm given by the instructions. i'm referring to the 529t module you have (2 windows up or down.....not both) 530t controls both directions.

Yeah, I know how to wire it up, but I only have the Nissan factory alarm in my 2K. I was thinking about getting another DEI alarm for it, though, but I want to install it myself. I don't like other people working on my car because I just don't trust them doing a good job. The last people who did my '95 did a horrible job of hacking and splicing wires, let alone breaking my door panel clips!
