Need help with O2 sim install.
Ok here is the deal, I had the HS headers installed and now I am installing the a dual O2 simulator for o2simulator.com. however for one of the secondary sensors (one with red heatshielding around wires) the actual sensor was cut off and is gone (not my doing, so dont flame me for it).
I am following Blackbirds write up for the install and he mentioned that you need to keep the sensors hooked up because they are heated and if they are not hooked up it will throw an SES light because the heater circuit is not complete.
I really dont want to buy a new sensor just to be simulated
is there anyway to complete the circuit without the sensor so it does not throw a light? I have the wires, just no sensor on the end.

I dont have the actual snsor just the harness plug and its wires. I have the o2 sim installed and i think it works... green led is lit.
I think I am just going to get a new one....

to mock the heater signal, you need a 40-60 Omh/20 watt resistor. you could have the simuator hooked to the exisiting wire and using a butt connector to attach the resistor. the only issue you might run into is the size of the resistor. since it is rather large, leaving it dangling on the wire would not work.
