could this throw the code????
i was demodding my car yesterday, removing the frankencar intake and reinstalling my stock intake, when i discovered that i have indeed developed an intake leak from one of the hose joints. just a slight, i mean VEEEERY small, gap when the pressure is applied, maybe only a couple millimeters wide and a half a centimeter long.
i've been getting a hard code P0430 Catalyst Inefficiency Bank 2 error and someone mentioned that it could possibly be caused by an intake leak. is that small of a hole enough to throw the code??? i wonder. i guess i'll see if the SES comes back...

leak was in the frankencar intake tract. so with the oem intake in, the leak's gone. i did indeed go to autozone and cleared light. we'll see if it comes back. strange how such a small leak almost cost me a new O2 sensor..... i guess we'll see.
