What's the average ET's around for the Max Auto Trans in hot weather? My lowest Pure Stock Time was 15.85 After installing a Stillen YPipe, Place R CAI, best 15.65 , Installed a RT Cat but no improvement. Waiting for a Stillen Hyflow POP Intake for next test (according to Stillen, they bet their Hyflow System is better than the CAI for Maximas, lets see. I think the best you can do in a Max A/T is around 15.5s My next Mod will be the Don's VB job this will help.

I got 15.4 with only a JWT Popcharger in cool

weather But I think the average is 15.8 stock. In hot weather I think it's more like 16 flat. If you shift in 5th gen, you will go faster, due to the higher peak HP and the fact that the transmission shifts early.

I have noticed that the Auto transmission shifts way before redline. Because the peak HP of the engine is so close to redline, you never hit it. So, shifting the auto manually would probably give you better results. It does take a bit of practice though.

I've gotten an average of 15.6 with my G-tech. That was before the CAI... but now, hopefully I can do 15.5 or maybe .4. Y pipe should bring it down to 15.3-ish. Better tires, maybe 15.2 (estimate: letting the car shift by itself).

Don't know what will happen if the car was manually shifted. Taking Paul's #'s... should be a bit under 15? Dunno...

Hy Paul, remember me Jose Ruiz "Pepo", my Max is Y2K like yours. Im still trying to figure how to make those 15.4 in my car even with all the goodies in it, and besides Im an experienced driver in Drag Racing, but I'll keep on trying and let you know.

Hey there Pepo. I remember you. I haven't been running as fast lately. Part of this is probably since I don't have the popcharger anymore. I'm going to go out in late fall to see if I can get my previous times.
