i think you have something confused here. a recalibrated valvebody is part of an auto transmission and can be purchased from maximumtuning.net the part i think you might confused about are the advantages of this. you would get a quicker 1-2 and 2-3 shift. this has been proven not to lower times at the track but is great for making the auto tranny more enjoyable. combined with a tranny cooler, it will also extend the life of the tranny. this is done by eliminating the lag in shifting which builds heat which is a large factor in tranny failure.

Yes. If you stack them and wire them in parallel you can add 20hp per chip, so 9 chips = +180hp W0WZERZ

it is definetely a great mod for an auto max, no debating that. but there will not be any massive torque gains or any for that matter. pass on the ebay crap and save up for a y pipe. best bang for you buck besides nitrous.

Here's some advice....when doing horsepower mods, generally speaking, for every 1hp you can get out of a mod, you will need to spend $40-50....i.e. A $200 intake/filter will get you 5 hp. A $1000 set of headers will get you 20-25. If you see a "power mod" that claims to give you much more than 1hp/$40, it is most likely bogus.
