Odd Cruise Control

Not sure if this is just mine, or all Maxs. When using cruise control, instead of holding a constant RPM/speed for the most part, it'll accel, decel, accel, decel... kind of like instead of holding the gas myself in one position, it give it gas, lets go, gives gas, lets go... kind of nauseating

I guess I don't use it that often, but I have a LOT of drives to Cleveland from Columbus in the next 6 months.

Mine holds the speed constant. It doesn't vary at all except in an extreme situation like a really steep hill, even then it's able to apply enough throttle to keep the speed constant.

On a flat stratch of road, it won't vary at all.

If you are on a flat road, is the speed varying? By how much?

It's like no cruise control I've ever had, speed doesn't very much, but RPMs can vary by about 50-100 on level roads...

It just feels like someone's constantly giving it gas, letting it go, giving gas, letting go... lurches almost but of course not that bad. It's done it since it was new (1st and only owner) I just keep forgetting about it since I do a lot of in city driving.
