Smoked rear signals?

I decided that I'd finally buy some clear sidemarkers for the car now that I have the HIDs with the clear lenses as well. I then thought that with the being Grey Lustre, the HID tinted chrome and the rims center all being a dark color I thought I'd get tinted side markers. I found fronts at CustomMaxima but they seem to only sell the clears for the rear, anyone know where I can get both as a set? Thanks.

make your own, cheaper and better looking.

by the way, why do you have a link to maxima.org on your....um....maxima.org signature? I think if someone sees your sig, they will already be here on the org. Not flaming, just wondering

I also have the front smoked lights from custom. The only difference between these and the clears, seems toe be the smoked have a black inner housing.
I'm thinking of buying a cheap pair of rear clears and trying to separate them and paint the back housing black. Wonder in the over thing will work on these.

Looking for the rear too. I purchase the fronts based on the assumption that the rears would be out be June and its well ..um past June. As far as I know the fronts are the only ones out and are now available on ebay so maybe some company will make the rears soon.

It may work but the seal would be harder to break and you might not be able to reseal. If you were to attempt it having an extra set would be a wise investment.

Maybe I'll try to separate my old front orange ones first.
I don't know if heat will work with glue as it does with silicone on the headlights.

I just used some Duplicolor paint and put a couple of light coats of sterling mist & clear coat over the clears I already had. They blend in perfectly during the day and still let around 60% of the light through from the bulbs. I bought the smoked fronts a few months ago under the same assumption as icelandmaxima with plans to put high-intensity LED's in a full set of smoked. I sent an e-mail to custommaxima a short while back about 'em, but never heard anything.

I agree with Irish, do them yourself. Here are how my OEM sidemarkers turned out. I used smoke tail paint.
