Syndicate Kustomz eyelids painted & installed (56k, nobody likes you)

Well, since this is not a very common mod with the 5th gens, I think this deserves to be left here. I had these custom ordered from S.K. about a year ago and I finally got around to getting them painted. MacAlert was getting his body kit painted, so knowing full well there would be left-over KT3 paint, I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to get the eyelids painted for dirt cheap. $25 and I had them back the next day. Oh and I haven't applied the double sided tape yet, so I know the edges are pertruding a little. Here are the pictures, thoughts are welcome - negative or positive:

Just IMO though

Looks as if though they don't match well with the hood.

Looks okay to me, fitment needs improvement... it looks like the driver's side lid has both edges sticking out...

Well, all eyelids look like that, really. They haven't been taped down yet, either.

A lot. $100.

And please...people read what I wrote, they haven't been taped down yet. I know they are sticking out. Puppetmaster, you of all people (with your newbie Googlizing ways) need to read what I wrote again. :P

The eyelids produce exactly the same amount of HP as your kit does.

The paint is flawless, so is the match. And yes, they did cost a lot. And the edges don't stick out anymore, I have taped them down now.

Oh and I feel a little bit of a power increase around the 4500k mark. At least 15HP and 12TQ.

Poor Ravi...I hope he doesn't blow you off, dude. When I asked him about the crack he was way too quick to dismiss it.

Good...bc purple tint is and

I don't think your "eyebrows" cover enough of the head light. I like them to give it more of an agressive look.

Mine are polyurethane and strong as hell. =P

But yeah, I agree with you that they don't cover enough of the headlight.

not possible. gains in hp for exterior mods = .5hp*(sq in of car covered). this means while nypd-ahnold is getting 15hp with the eyelids, i'm getting 95hp with the stealin. suckers!

they look ok to me though. undecided whether i'd put them on my max.

Those suck. They don't cover the turn signal part of the headlight - just the housing. And they're thin and cheap. I had 'em and sold them.

I don't really care. That's not what this thread is about. The chrome strip is there to protect my bumper. I was driving around with clean bumpers for 3 days, and my rear bumper got 5 different paint chips -- so back the protection went. I live in NYC, people can't park here for sh*t.
