Several people have asked me via PM over the last few weeks about where exactly the stage II LTB bolts on, and what the ground clearance looks like (concerns about steep driveways, etc...)

Well, I finally went out and took some pics for you guys...here they are....from the front, side, and rear (also showing the Stillen RSB, which has no real clearance issues to speak of)

did you put on the front control arm bushings yet?

 

no, they will go on next month when I take the LTB off to put my y-pipe on....gonna do LCA bushings, ypipe, and shifter bushings all at once hopefully....

hey irish, i have a question about the LTB install. I remember Matt recomended replacing the stock bushings with polyurethane bushings when installing the LTB...what bushings is he talking about? IS it the Lower Control Arm Bushings? Or is it the end links bushings?

 

Hey Irish, thats the Stage 2 is that correct? Also, did you feel a difference after you installed it, How was is the handeling?

Its bright and sunny this morning... guess the weather reports were wrong...

 

lower control arm bushings. specifically the bush pin link bushings.......they come as a set, so might as well do all 4 at once while you have it off...

 

yes, it's a stage 2. Yes, there is a signficant difference in both handling and steering response. There are alot of threads on the subject....do a quick search!

To install the control arm bushings mentioned above do I have to take the whole control arm off the car or can I just pop the old bushing off, and insert the new one!? I am about to install the ltb 2 when I have some free time and am trying to figure out the best way to do it.
