I just got my brakes done at the shop, and when i \I got it back, it would continuouslt make almost a thumping noise on the right side of my car every time i stopped on the brakes.....so I took it back and he said he had to rotate the rotors....and I got it back the next day and it ws still making the noise.....so i brought it back yet another time and he said it was fixed but If it kept thumping i might need new rotors...ow it doesnt make the noise, but I heard it ONE time when I needed to stop quicly at a yellow/red light when there was a cop in the intersection....It's only one time, but do I need new rotors?

yes get a second opinion, but it sounds like if they cut the rotors, they gave you a bad cut. more noticable when the rotors get hot
