P1065-ECM Power Supply Circuit...help needed
P1065-ECM Power Supply Circuit...help needed
Has anyone ever got this check engine light code on there max (P1065)? The code came up this morning, but the car seems to drive perfectly fine.
Beginning 2 weeks ago, I've been having a problem where my battery dies if I leave it hooked up overnight. I believe something is getting sorted out (most likely from behind the radio or somewhere nearby the cigarette 12volt socket, but the check engine light only came up today. I've narrowed it down to the cigarette lighter because when I try charging my phone, it doesn't supply any power. Note: its not the battery because I've tried 3 different batteries with the same result.
Anyone have any ideas? On the Infinity forums, they list this code as "ECM Power Supply Heater"

The code is for the ECM back-up power supply. It is "for the ECM memory function of the DTC memory, the air fuel ratio feedback compensation value memory, the idle air volume learning value memory, etc." (from FSM) Its basically telling you that the back-up power supply is not functioning properly, either due to a bad harness/connector, or ECM.
youll probably be buying an ECM...
check power to pin 67 white wire with blue stripe, should be hot at all times. if youve got power, check the connector terminal and the ECM pin for proper contact. if you dont have power, ill email you a wiring diagram and you can find the open ckt.

I had this error code pop up a few minutes ago.
I had disconnected the battery terminals due to an on-going work related to coolant leak. I believe at some point, the battery was disconnected for a week if not more.
So anyway, once I fixed the coolant leak and connected the battery terminals, I got this P1065 error.
I checked all terminals and everything was secure. So I just erased the error code from ECU and started the car and drove her for 5 miles.
So far, the error has not come back.
My suspicion is, with the batter disconnected for such a long while, something weird happened with the ECU logic that triggered the error.
But if it comes back, I'll probably have to check the fuses.
The maxima runs fine, idles file, has good acceleration and otherwise feels absolutely normal.
