I just got my max this in mid July and today the car was throwing a P0430... I just recently removed the cat to install the new polyurethane shifter bushing, i dont think I broke anything, but what could I have done to get this code, i have to bring the car to Nissan this week to replace my driver side heated seat module, im going to try and get nissan to replace my pre-cats or cat, what ever I need to get the code to go away the right way, i erased it with an ODBII scanner from PepBoys.

any idea's as to what might have caused this would be good.

 

P0430 = B2 pre cat(front)

P0420 = B1 pre cat(rear)

The Main cat which you removed would have nothing to do with the code that popped up.(Safe assumption, since its below shifter mechanism)

 

as long as everythings tight and not leaking, id say its okay.

 

yeah my exhaust isnt any louder which I think it would be if there was a leak near the cat.... i hope i didnt break my flex pipe

 

yep, usually you can hear it... sometimes not.
