hey guys,

i just bought a 2000 infiniti i30,,, im pritty sure they have the same motors and stuff as the maxima's. but yeah- the check engine light came on- i had it checked and says system too lean ( bank 1) anyone know what the means or what the problem would be- and how i can solve this problem? i asked someone and they told me that the gas may have something to do with it- the thing is i drove the car till it was on E and then i filled it up with super>>> would that have something to do with it? or is it something else.
any help and comment would help me greatly....

i mean i have owned maximas in the past- 5 of them to be exact, and i have gotten check engine light before but never heard of this???

I really have no technical experience with that code specificly, but make sure your gas cap is tight.

My buddy has a 2000 I-30 that had the exact same issue.
The new Mass Airflow Sensor fixed it right up. Get it from Courtesy Nissan.
