I have had a stubborn check engine light! I have gotten the codes for the 02 sensors (all 3 at different times) and now i cannot get the code for catalytic efficiency numerous times- even after resets. I have a warpspeed y-pipe and i am wondering if my cat is truly bad. I have 78K miles and i am thinking the cat may truly be bad. Which aftermarket cat is suggested?

 

what were the codes that it shot off, i got a PO420 twice now and my catalytic converter is a piece of crap and i also have the warpspeed y pipe. so tell me the codes, together maybe we can help eachother out here.

thats the same code i get- i am ordering a high flow cat as we speak and i will see if that fixes the prob

check for exhaust leaks before condemning the cat.

 

oh my cat is totally messed because a piece of honeycomb is rattling and it smells pretty damn bad.
