Sticky Caliper?

Hey Guys,

I have a 2003 maxima, and the passenger side front caliper is sticking. I had to change brake pads at 35k because one side was worn down. Whenever I take a corner (think a right corner), I can here the pad slightly contact the rotor. Maybe a rebuild kit is in order?

Thx for any advice.

When the front brakes were done on my 2k2 we disassembled the caliper to grease the slides, then applied BG Stop Squeal to the back sides of the pads. This took care of the minor sticking problem I was getting out of my RF caliper. However, at 35k your caliper should have been covered under warranty unless you were out by time. It's worth the effort to grease the slides; this might save you the expense of having to replace your caliper, which isn't cheap, or fun.

I'll have to grease the slides, hoping that I don't have a pinched line b/c I remember them moving freely when I disassembled before.
