Cool non-fogger idea.

I was checking my car once over and noticed the fog light accessory( the plastic piece in place of where fogs would go) and noticed that if you were to cut in between the plastic sills it could seriously make a bad@ss intake. So I checked under the hood and low and behold there was a enough room to custom fit some piping. But that isn't even the cool part though. While I was down there I noticed a serious design flaw with the intake after the scoop. After it comes into the scoop part of the intake, the air has to go down into this kind of well-shaped excess! What a waste! Anyway, theoretically you could cut out the bottom and fit the custom piping to it. I haven't started this yet but it is definitely going to be my first project. So I guess the reason I posted this is because if someone has more time and money to pursue this the better.

I know about OSCAI, this is just something a little different and geared toward people without fogs. Plus, if I get this to work the the air will be much more direct and will have two scoops instead of one. Please, no jokes about Raisian Bran. And yes, I know I will have to set up a well designed filter for the new intake port.

i wasnt implying that it has been done before, more like some added visuals. Anyways, good luck with this. I did make a ghetto PVC CAI and the filter sat right above the splash guard . I did think about taking out my fog lights but I like how the car looks with them. Anyways, good luck with what you do. Post results

ive done this in my previous cars, namely a 240, 3rd gen max and an old school sentra, works fine once the dryer duct is run.
