H&R -----> H-Tech ... Alignment Necessary?

I think I'm going to swap out my front H&R springs for the Tein H-Techs to get a more even drop and I wanted to know if I'd have to get my car realigned again...The H&R drop is supposedly 1.4 and the H-Tech is supposedly 1.6 so that is only .2 inches and I didn't know if it would be needed. Thanks for any input.

yes you do...when the struts are removed, most likely it wont go back to it's original position...that will throw off the alignment....

Any time the geometry of your suspension changes ie new equipment, getting an alignment would be recommended.

Would this include going from 17 inch rims to 18?

Never does. My car rides alot better when it gets aligned. Just like now. Very lovely even with a drop.

yeah, i would get it align. i think this HTech drop is 1.7 in the front. which is the same as progress up front. i'm looking to raise my rear from 1.5 (where progress puts it at) and throw in maxspeed springs which are 1.3 for a more even drop. this might be the most EVEN combo for our max besides coilovers
