Bending Chasis After Drop?

I herd I that you are able to twist/bend the chasis after you drop a car,

Is that a Hard thing to do?

Is it easy?

What can you do to prevent that from happening?

What can you do if it happened?

Just trying to find info because I just dropped my car.

Are you talking about lowering the car? Regular lowering with aftermarket springs/struts is not going to bend or distort the chassis.

I am talking about lowering my car, and putting stiffer parts, examp, strut bar,s tie bars, shocks springs, i hard it is easier to bend your chasis because there is not as much absorbant the the springs anymore,

Okay, I'll quote myself... You are not going to bend the frame of the vehicle by simply lowering it with aftermarket springs/struts.

Just putting the springs on won't bent/twist your frame. It's when you drive over rough roads regularly that the damage begins. Just ask anyone who has had stiff springs on their car for a while. They'll tell you about the rattles in their cars that have developed. They're literally shaking their cars apart each time they hit a bump. If you've ever take a piece of wire and bent it back and forth a couple times, you get the idea.

if you are really that worried about it just buy subframes for peice of mind.

btw, your car will flex just jacking up one end alone lol. Doesn't bend though lol.

The way i am looking at it, I was told that after you drop your car if you go fast around corners or hit bumps in the road hard you can bend your chasis and that can make your car vibrate at higher speeds. I just wondering if thats possible or hard to do.
