I need to get new tires for my wheels, but i'm not sure what tire size i should get.
The tires that originally came with the wheels 225/35/19, I've been told its too small for my car (02)

You should use 235/35/19 but you can also use 245/35/19.

use 245s... better curb protection, better patch, probably a better circumference if 225 is too small.

245's a wider tire than the 235's; so if you want more rubber on the road, get the 245's. The only trouble with the 245's is that you might run into rubbing issues..
