i am looking around and about to buy a 5th gen maxima. now if you all could answer a few questions for me that would be great.
1. I was wondering if they sell turbo kits for theses maximas(please post link if they do)
2. can these engines handle boost
3. how much are we looking at for boost installed.

Btw, if you're asking how much it is to have a turbo kit installed, I hope you also have the know-how to troubleshoot and maintain it after the install. From what I've heard, you can't just install it and then never touch it again. For a SC maybe, but not for a turbo. Ya might wanna do more research on that.

 

engines are strong enough to handle boosts. Price will just depend on how hard you look. you look deep enough and take your time, a good deal will come.

 

u can boost the 00-01 5th gen 3.0 motors NOT THE 02-03 5.5GEN 3.5 motors, idk why.
