ways to make 5th gen steering mroe responsive...

i assume bushings and a LTB from MAtt would be the only way to go? is there any other ways i can "tighten" up my 5th gen's steering?

More agressive "Z" rated rubber.
Front strut tower brace.
Refresh worn sway bar bushings.
Firmer suspension.

If you want more responsive steering even after all those mods, you need to buy a different car.

Huh? You mean buy an Audi steering rack and put it in, or an Audi "style" replacement? Got more info?
You could do what I30krab did and buy some device that allows for control over that steering ratio or feel. I forget exactly what he did, but he can control steering firmness through a **** on his dash. He said it was the best mod he had done to his car. If the cost of labor wasn't so bad, I would really want to do this.......

Audi puts their steering racks and knuckles up high(closer to the roll center), instead of at the bottom of the car like most makers. This helps push against body roll instead of adding too body roll.

That's interesting. Is it possible to transfer that sort of system to our cars?

Here's a simple and free one to improve steering response...increase tire pressure. I run mine at 37 and it helps. (just don't exceed the cold tire pressure rating of the tire)
