I just raced a Honda Accord V6 4 door last night. He was instigating so I decided to teach him a lesson or so I thought. On a straightaway I pulled away slowly. However when we hit some curves on the highway I was all over the road, it felt as if the car was bouncing and swaying too much. It made me feel as if I pushed the car harder that it would lose control. At this time I just let up and ended the race and as soon as he saw that I wasn't racing anymore he slowed down as well and eventually I pulled along side him and we each gave the other a thumbs up. Anyhow after this experience I am very dissappointed at the factory suspension and that a suspension upgrade is next on my mod list.I will get revenge

Three-Step Program to Success:

1. FSTB
2. RSB
3. Find that guy again and you'll smoke 'em like a cheap cigar

Cheers!

the only thing to add to Rctic's list would be new springs and struts.... BottleFed: what kind of max do you have? An SE?

Excellent point. Since I haven't done my homework on shocks and springs as of yet, I felt it best to keep my pie-hole shut. But from what I've seen in the posts, they should definitely help out.

But you'll be able to take out the other car because that's what counts.

If Jane can handle it, so can you!

The scary thing is that I already have a FSTB and Stillen RSB and the car was driving like that. My next mod will be the Ground Control Coilovers and Koni's or Tokico's.
UMD_MaxSE: I have a 2001 Max SE AE

The suspension mods should help but the reason why that Accord pulled you in the twisties is that they have a different suspension. They feature double wishbone suspension while us maxers have to put up with our phony strut set-ups.
