I just purchased 2001 SE 20th anniversary. I have read about the two products mention above, but have no experience, nor know anyone with experience with either of these products.

I would really like to keep the paint job intact. Any thought?

Is one better than the other? Are their any disadvantages to putting this product on your vehicle?

Thanks for the help.

same

I have heard of the product manufactured by 3m by both names. I think they are the same unless someone finds another manufacturer. I have seen on another max it and plan to get it done soon.

there is always a downside of putting on a nosemask, u will see a two-tone effect after prolong use of it. One thing that I dun like about clear bra is that they are hard to remove so I went for the OEM bra....I took it off for local driving and put it back on for long high way driving in order to avoid this two-tone effect.

They don't make a Bra for our car

The Bra's out there don't fit the AE because of the front skirt. The 3M product has been our only option. I agree that it would be hard to get off buy why would you. As for the two tone I think 3m warranty's against that. (Says UV can pass through) You can't see it until you are within a few feet of the car. The only thing holding me back right now is the fact it costs ~$300 installed.

I have a 5th Gen 3M Clear Mask I purchased new for my 2000 Max, but I have never installed it. It is still new in the box. It is the full treatment, parts for the hood, front bumper, mirrors and lights. I am looking to sell it, and I am willing to sell for less than I paid. EMAIL or PM me for more details if you are interested.
