how do I remove climate control unit and radio?

how do I remove climate control unit and radio?
Im trying to remove my climate control and radio units to change the display colors, what is the process for removing them? I dont want to break any plastic retainers or clips by trying to take out the wrong one first.

Pull out the coin tray and remove the single screw that is at the bottom. then use a flat head screw driver or a panel spreader to pull up the trim around the shifter. Once you get it started (closer on the side by the parking break) just pull the whole thing up. Then you need to remove the air vent above the radio, its got two clips on the bottom. Just pry it up from the bottom and pull up on it, it will be very hard the first time you do it and will get easier the more times you pull it up. Then you just gotta remove two screws on top and two on the bottom. Then the entire center console with the radio and heating control will come out.
